About Us
Cornerstone Energy Solutions is on the cutting edge of Green Construction. Cornerstone started out as a residential energy auditing company. From there, it added on a variety of Green Construction services to better serve its clients. Cornerstone became an educational company when it was asked to assist in a workforce development program to teach new energy auditors. The Comfortize program is Cornerstone's newest business program. Cornerstone has kept its roots - you can still call us for energy audits or weatherization work - but we also specialize in building energy education. Cornerstone teaches courses in the mid-west and nationally. Cornerstone has also launched the first website dedicated solely to online continuing education for energy auditors. There are no franchise fees to become a Comfortize Man. Cornerstone wants people with no money to be able to be involved. There are minimal tools required to be a Comfortize Man. If you are a handy person, you probably have everything required already. You must pass a background check before Cornerstone will set you loose. Depending upon your background, you may be asked to take a Cornerstone training course so that you have the information you need to be successful.
